Discover the multipurpose room of Château Le Bas Bleu
It was the house of Anaïs Nin, in Louveciennes, which inspired the name of our room. Indeed, his friend and writer Henry Miller described Nin’s house as a “laboratory of the soul”, as it invited the outpouring of creativity and intellectual sharing. Château Le Bas Bleu is intended, like Anaïs’s house, to be a place that encourages the exchange of thoughts and inspiration. Located on the ground floor of an outbuilding of the castle, Le Labo d’Âme is a space dedicated to physical activity, work on oneself, creativity and artistic expression. This versatile workshop of almost 90m² (main room of approximately 50m2, plus three small separate workspaces) is designed to inspire and support artists and associations in their creative projects.

Description of the space
The Labo d’Âme, with its almost 90m² surface area, is a bright and versatile space, ideal for artistic and intellectual activities. In the large room (approximately 50 m2), the dance floor which can be covered with carpet, allows you to practice without shoes, providing optimal comfort for disciplines such as dance, yoga or theater rehearsals. Large windows let in calming natural light, but black hangers help create a fully enclosed space, creating an atmosphere conducive to concentration and inspiration. This versatile space, equipped with professional lights to create stage spaces, can be adapted according to the specific needs of each project, whether performance preparations or creative sessions.

Activities and workshops
Le Labo d’Âme hosts a variety of workshops and activities designed to nourish the creative spirit. Dance sessions, Alexander Technique courses offered by our partner ETAN , music or theater rehearsals, painting workshops and reading circles are organized to encourage artistic exploration and personal development.
