Reservations for rooms and gîtes at Château Le Bas Bleu are subject to full payment of all nights. The balance is due 1 week before the start of the stay.

Article 1: object

This contract is intended for the exclusive use of booking stays in guest rooms and gîtes at Château Le Bas Bleu. The best welcome will be reserved for our guests. The castle team is committed to personally welcoming guests with all the necessary attention to facilitate their stay and discovery of the region.

Article 2 – Duration of stay

The customer signing this contract concluded for a fixed period may not, under any circumstances, claim any right to remain in the premises.

Article 3 – Reservation and Conclusion of the contract

The reservation becomes effective once the customer has sent the owner full payment of the price of the stay and any options chosen at the time of reservation. Online booking results in the signing of the contract when the customer checks the box to accept our General Terms and Conditions. The customer can download our General Terms and Conditions and keep a copy. Prices are inclusive of all charges, excluding tourist tax and paid options reserved or consumed on site.

Article 4 – No withdrawal

For reservations made by mail, by telephone or online, the customer does not benefit from the withdrawal period, in accordance with article L121-21-8 of the Consumer Code relating in particular to the accommodation services provided. on a date or according to a specific periodicity.

Article 5 – Cancellation by the customer

Any cancellation must be notified by letter or e-mail to the owner’s address.

a) Cancellation before the start of the stay:

  • Cancellation is free if it occurs more than 7 days before the start of the stay, the deposit paid to the owner will be returned to you.
  • If the cancellation occurs between 7 days and 24 hours before the start of the stay, the deposit remains with the owner.
  • If the cancellation occurs less than 24 hours before the start of the stay, the deposit remains with the owner who reserves the right to claim the balance of the price of the accommodation.

b) If the customer does not show up before 7 p.m. on the scheduled start day of the stay, this contract becomes void and the owner can dispose of his guest rooms. The deposit remains with the owner who reserves the right to claim the balance of the price of the accommodation.

c) In the event of a shortened stay, the price corresponding to the cost of accommodation remains in full with the owner.

Article 6 – Cancellation by the owner

When, before the start of the stay, the owner cancels this stay, he must inform the customer by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt or by e-mail. The customer, without prejudging any recourse for compensation for any damage suffered, will be reimbursed immediately for the sums paid.

Article 7 – Arrival and departures

The customer must arrive on the specified day between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. In the event of late or delayed arrival, the customer must notify the owner as soon as possible. A supplement of €10 per hour started will then be billed. Departures are until 10 a.m. for the gîtes and until 11 a.m. at the castle. An extension (up to 1 p.m. maximum and subject to availability) will also be billed at 10 a.m. of the hour started.

Article 8 – Breakfasts

Breakfasts are served between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. A margin of 30 minutes before or after this time slot is accepted, upon prior request from the customer.

Article 9 – Payment of the balance

The balance is due 1 week before the start of the stay. Consumption and additional services not mentioned in the contract or quote will be payable to the owner at the end of the stay, upon check-out. The house accepts credit cards and cash, but not checks. The list of paid options and their prices can be consulted on site and on the castle website.

Article 10 – Tourist tax

The tourist tax is a local tax which the customer must pay to the owner who then pays it to the public treasury.

Article 11 – Use of the premises

The customer must respect the peaceful nature of the premises and use them in accordance with their intended purpose. No meals can be taken in the rooms. He undertakes to return the rooms in good condition and must declare any damage for which he may be responsible and assume responsibility for repairs. The entire castle is a non-smoking area.

Article 12 – Capacity

This contract is established for a specific number of people. If the number of customers exceeds this number (baby included), the owner is able to refuse additional customers. This refusal can in no case be considered as a modification or breach of the contract to be
the initiative of the owner, so that in the event of the departure of a number of customers greater than those refused, no refund can be considered.

Article 13 – Animals

Animals are not allowed. If a customer leaves due to the refusal of their animal, no refund can be considered.
